Einstein was a relatively unknown name in the spring of 1914. It took British astrnomer Arthur Eddington to realise the German physicist's ideas could change the intellectual landscape of the century. In the face of a world war, the two men begin a corrspondence - then an eclipse in Africa provides an opportunity to prove Einstein's theories once and for all. Eddington sets out on a journey to change people's perceptions of the world forever.
