When former BBC chat-show host, Alan Partridge, is fired and his wife leaves him, he finds himself living a less-than-savory lifestyle when he's forced to move in to the Linton Travel Tavern and work a late night radio show. The only person who might have it worse is his unconditionally dedicated personal assistant, Lynn who looks after his every irrational need, despite his incessant abuse. With the help of Lynn and his only friend, Michael, the Geordie all-purpose worker at the Tavern, Partridge tries to get his life back together...
